Fluid Art is also known as paint pouring, flow art, liquid art etc. Is a form of abstract art that uses acrylic paints with a fluid consistency. Fluid acrylics can be used on many types of substrates and in many different forms such as pouring, dripping, swirling, glazing, dipping and many other effects.
For everyone fascinated by art or even for those who just love vibrant colors, signing up for this experience would be a great idea. From abstracts to techniques and tricks this workshop will show you how fluid art can be used to create wonderful things you desire off.
We will cover everything from discussing a brief origin of fluid art painting to how to create some amazing marble effects using different self-made fluid pour colors
- You will learn how to make fabulous compositions with mesmerizing effects with just 2 or more acrylic colors on the canvas, types of fluid art and their versatility to do on various surfaces. Our Instructor will guide you on how to achieve cells and amazing effects with the use of simple tricks. while discussing the various possibilities of fluid art.
- Day 1 Blow technique Day 2 Flower technique Day 3 Ocean pour Day 4 fluid art on phone cover + varnishing (method no. 1) Day 5 fluid art on wooden tray/coaster/plater + vanishing (method no. 2)
- Basics of painting, pouring medium and acrylic paints. Creating fluid art with different techniques and tricks to create cells and amazing effects. Information about prepping and finishing the painting. A beautiful painting created by yourself to take home. Application of Acrylic fluid art
- Any 4 shades of acrylic colors
- 1 MDF/canvas board as a base for the artwork (or any hard board of any size)
- 5 disposable paper cups; Water
- Sticks (like ice cream sticks) to help mix the paint
- Fevicol (any transparent glue will work); Hand Gloves (optional)
- Old newspapers/plastic sheets to completely cover the workspace to avoid a mess
