These are two so with complex understanding. So to understand and work in the medium its important to be familiar with it.
Both the mediums are complex to handle and less forgiving, the control and precision is required to get the correct effect.
As they look same but have totally different feel and texture and also the application differs.
A controlled mind and concentration is must for both. On the contrary the results are so beautiful and different that it makes u fall in love with it again and again.
We will be taking both the mediums one by one. in total 8 classes :-
- 1st two classes to understand perspective drawing
- 2nd week to understand and practice Charcoal application
- 1st day of third week one final picture in charcoal.
- 2nd day of third week we start with the color theory and basics of soft pastel, application etc.
- Practicing of Soft pastels. one picture in soft pastel.
- One drawing in Charcoal and One drawing in Soft pastel
- A4 size artist pad
- willow charcoal one box
- fixative spray one bottle
- Soft pastels box 36 shades or 24 shades (any)
- blending stumps one pack
- a rug, aprin to wear, pencil and eraser
