The everyday session begins with warm up exercises, sun salutations, asanas and pranayama. Asanas include forward bends, backward bends, spinal twists and inverted postures. Variations of asanas and pranayama can be planned according to the needs of participants. Pranayama relaxes body and mind and also harnesses energies in the right direction.
I have been practicing yoga since last more than 15 years. Since the day I started learning yoga from my Guru Smitatai Phatak, it has become an inseparable routine part of my life. I do it every day without fail, not just to keep myself fit but also because it has grown into a passion for me. Yoga has helped my body to stay fit and healthy and my mind to remain calm and composed. Now, I want to share my experience with one and all whoever wants to become healthier and peaceful with the help of yoga. Even though I have not acquired any formal certificate or degree in yoga, the guidance of my Guru, my personal experience and regular practice of yoga makes me capable of teaching this ancient technique to everyone who has a desire to learn.
